Woodgrove Pines Clinic is excited to announce the addition of Kinesiologist Rachel Robertson, who will be joining our Physiotherapist, Dag Ronhovde, in our new Physio Rehabilitation gym.
Rachel received her B.A. in Kinesiology with a minor in Food and Nutrition at University of Western Ontario. During university Rachel also completed her Fusion Pilates Certification, which includes mat, reformer, prenatal and postnatal repertoire. Rachel has continued to expand her repertoire by completing STOTT Pilates courses in mat and reformer, and has been teaching for the past six years.
Before Rachel moved to Nanaimo she specialized in working to rehabilitate patients involved in motor vehicle accidents. She used her Kinesiology and Pilates knowledge to rehabilitate the injured parties. Rachel is also a certified personal trainer, C.O.R.E cycle instructor and yoga exercise specialist.
Rachel’s first Pilates class at our clinic gym will begin April 2nd and run for eight (8) weeks. These classes are one hour long and cost is only $110 for the entire eight week course!
Rachel customizes her classes for the level you are at, everyone fits in! In addition to working with Physiotherapy patients, Rachel is also available for private, one-on-one training sessions.
Our gym is equipped with a Body Solid Weight Trainer, Octane Elliptical Trainer, Treadmill, Fitvibe, Inversion Table, Theraband Training Center (with free weights, toning and exercise balls), Bodyguard Recumbent Bike and Spinning Bike.
